My paintings are an exploration in color and form. With each series I press myself forward, continually working to find new understanding in the subjects and their surroundings.

I consider myself an alchemist in a way, creating dimensional worlds out of flat planes, creating emotion out of color and shadow and light. Painting is illusive, mysterious, and yet necessary. It forces one to observe a moment that might have slipped by unseen.
